I'm soooo proud once again. It seems that this move to LA has been a real major boost in my career. The Paul Mitchell Head For Change website that my co-workers and I have worked on together has gotten an Outstanding Achievement Award from the IMA (Interactive Media Awards Organization). This makes it the 3rd award that I've gotten in my life for my work and all within the timespan since I've moved to LA a little more than a year ago. An IMA Outstanding Achievement award for the "House" website, a Gold Addy for the "House" website, and now an IMA Outstanding Achievement award for the Paul Mitchell Head For Change site. Excuse my excitement as I am very happy that this is taking place in my life.
Here's a quote from the email we got back from the IMA:
"Congratulations! We are happy to announce that your entry into the IMA competition, the Paul Mitchell Head for Change Website (entered March 31, 2008), under the category 'Consumer Goods', has won the IMA Outstanding Achievement Award with an overall score of 467.
The Outstanding Achievement award is the second highest honor bestowed by IMA and an extremely challenging award to win. Your website has excelled in all areas of our judging criteria and represents a very high standard of planning, execution and overall professionalism."NOTE: I don't submit these sites to the organization. My company does, but I am extremely proud of the work.
